Religion is almost always funny

November 29, 2007

Check out the 9 most badass verses in the bible. Hilariously funny stuff. [via Boing Boing]
(Ok, religion isn’t always funny, having bomb-strapped people running around your kids isn’t very funny. Then again, I would argue it has almost nothing to do with religion…)

carbon dioxide emissions & the people walking to the dead end

November 26, 2007

I’d hate to be on the board of Daimler-Chrysler right now. They haven’t got much going for them it seems – or, as Treehugger puts it << Nothing says “I don’t care” as a shiny new Mercedes >>…

Why DRM sucks

November 8, 2007

This is the point most DRM opponents are trying to make. Case in point – Major League Baseball.

The “war on terror” or “when sh*t hit the fan”

November 6, 2007

Bruce Schneier almost always have smart things to say and this essay is no exception. As a european, I can’t fail to notice the exact same pattern here. There’s hardly a day that passes by without at least one story about suspicious content that brought out the whole shebang of police equipment extraordinaire.

HowTo for FreeRADIUS setup

November 6, 2007

The first part of a howto for setting up FreeRADIUS to increase the security of your home network. I really like the site SmallNetBuilder (not the least because they cover the NAS market far better than anyone else) & I really should work on securing my wireless a lot more…
